Description Tamarind Trees Tree (also known as tamarindus indica) possess a short massive trunk, topped with a bushy wide spread of pinnate light green leaves and tiny yellow flowers that blooms during summer. This tree is actually a leguminous tree that belongs to the family of “Fabaceae”, with native originated in the Tropic regions of Africa. These trees are known for bearing seed pods filled with plump cinnamon, that when ripe produces edible sour-sweet pulp. For such reasons, Tree (tamarindus indica) pulps are widely used for culinary purposes. These trees can grow well in the presence of full sunlight. Water them moderately enough to keep their soil moist. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained. To sight their healthy growth, ideally the temperature must be around 28 to 35 degree Celsius. And in terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers.
